President Murmu condoles death of Congress leader Dambarudhar Ulaka

New Delhi [India], May 15 : President Droupadi Murmu on Wednesday expressed sadness over the demise of Congress leader and former Odisha minister Dambarudhar Ulaka.

"Saddened to know about the demise of Shri Dambarudhar Ulaka who served as minister in Odisha government. Shri Ulaka worked for the welfare of people, especially the deprived and underprivileged. I extend my condolences to his family members and followers," Droupadi Murmu posted on X.
Sarat Patnaik, President of Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee in a post on X said, "Saddened to hear about the passing of former Congress MLA Damburudhar Ulaka. As a five-time MLA from Bissam Cuttack AC, his dedicated service and contributions to the community will always be remembered. My heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time".
The Veteran Congress leader passed away on Tuesday in Bhubaneswar.
