Tripura: Muslim community in Agartala organises blood donation camp to promote religious equality

Agartala (Tripura), May 17 (ANI): In a bid to promote religious equality, the Muslim community of Agartala organised a blood donation camp at the Ramnagar Mosque on May 17, marking the first such initiative in the state. The event was spearheaded by the Riadul Jannah Jame Masjid Committee and witnessed significant participation from various community members and dignitaries. Dr Manik Saha, the Chief Minister of Tripura, graced the occasion with his presence, highlighting the importance of communal harmony and the spirit of service. Also in attendance were Deepak Majumdar, the Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation, and Mr. Rajadul Haque, the Chief Secretary of the Assistant High Commission of Bangladesh, alongside members of both the mosque and the Ram Thakur Ashram. The blood donation camp saw an impressive turnout, with 100 individuals voluntarily donating blood.
