New Delhi [India], August 7 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has "15 bathrooms, and curtains worth Rs 1 crore each" in his residence, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi claimed on Monday during a debate on Delhi Services Bill in the Parliament.
Speaking in the Rajya Sabha, Trivedi said, "In 2013, he (Kejriwal) tweeted that there were 10 air conditioners in then CM Sheila Dikshit’s residence and even in the bathroom there was AC, he also asked who paid for the electricity bill…now in Kejriwal's residence, there are 15 bathrooms and curtains worth Rs 1 crore each."
Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday moved for consideration and passing in Rajya Sabha the bill to replace the ordinance for control of services in Delhi.
Amit Shah moved the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023,  for passage in the House after opposition members moved a resolution disapproving the ordinance brought by the government in May this year. The bill was passed by Lok Sabha last week.
Opposition parties, who are in I.N.D.I.A bloc, are opposed to the bill. .
