Hajipur (Bihar) [India], November 3 : Union Minister Nityanand Rai took a swipe at Mahagathbandhan CM nominee Tejashwi Yadav, stating that November 18 will not come for him as the opposition alliance will be wiped out on November 6 and 11 respectively.
Rai was responding to Tejashwi Yadav's recent statement regarding taking the oath as Bihar CM on November 18.
"He is dreaming of taking oath as the CM on 18th Nov. But for him, 18th Nov won't even come. In #BiharElection2025, they will be wiped out by the people of the state on 6th and 11th Nov," Rai told ANI.
The Union Minister further stressed that people of Bihar do not want 'jungle raj' in the state and do not want massacre, crime, rape, dacoity, kidnapping, extortion and communal violence.
"How will they form the Govt and take oath if they will be wiped out? People of Bihar do not want 'jungle raj' anymore. They do not want massacre, crime, rape, dacoity, kidnapping, extortion and communal violence. People want development. They trust PM Modi, and CM Nitish Kumar, Chirag Paswan, Upendra Kushwaha and Jitan Ram Manjhi," Rai added.
Earlier today, Mahagathbandhan Chief Minister nominee Tejashwi Yadav didn't express surprise over Bihar CM Nitish Kumar's absence from PM Narendra Modi's road show in Patna, stating that it is evident as the BJP has no plans of making JD(U) supremo Chief Minister again.
"What's surprising about this? Everyone knows that the BJP will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister," Tejashwi Yadav told reporters.
He also criticised PM Modi's "Katta" remark during a public rally in Arrah, noting that he had never seen a Prime Minister speak such language.
"Jiski jaisi soch hai, uski waisi bhavna hai. He acts like that and speaks just like that. Maybe he pointed guns to make others join the NDA. I do not want to comment on it. But listen to the PM's language. I have never heard any PM speak like this," Tejashwi added.
The Bihar assembly elections will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14.
