"Hitler Raj in Himachal Pradesh": State BJP President Rajeev Bindal

Oct 17, 2023

Shimla (Himachal Pradesh) [India], October 17 : Himachal BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal on Tuesday compared the Congress-led government in the state with that of Hitler, the infamous dictator of Nazi Germany after its attempts to change the trend of natural farming.
Slamming the recent statement of the Himachal Agriculture Minister about switching back to the old farming method, he said that Congress is taking such a step just because the concept of natural farming was started by Jairam Thakur in Himachal Pradesh.
"This statement is unfortunate, we feel that the work of (natural) farming was started in Himachal Pradesh by the previous Jairam Thakur government", Dr Rajiv Bindal said.
BJP State President Dr Rajiv Bindal said that the statement of the Himachal Agriculture Minister has come that natural farming work will be stopped in Himachal Pradesh and work will be started again towards the old natural farming system.
"While the work of natural farming is increasing rapidly all over the country, at the same time by taking such a negative step in Himachal Pradesh, this government wants to push this excellent work backwards", Bindal said in a statement.
"Our previous Governor had also taken this work forward at a fast pace. Which is propagated today in Gujarat and South India. Today, scientists all over the world also believe that natural farming provides health benefits to the common people. In mango farming, we use chemicals, pesticides, and urea pesticides. The government should think seriously about this matter of public interest", he added.
The BJP President also targeted the Himachal Pradesh Government on the implementation of "no work no pay" for district council cadre employees
Dr Rajiv Bindal said that "in the 2022 elections, Congress leaders were giving speeches to the District Panchayati Raj employees that as soon as the government is formed, they will solve all their problems. Today Panchayati Raj employees are continuously fighting for their rights. Only assurances are being given to these employees which are not even being fulfilled. Today "no work no pay" is being imposed on these employees."
"When former Chief Minister Shanta Kumar had taken such a decision, it was the Congress government that had created an uproar in the entire state. Job profiles of these employees have also been called for and preparations are being made to take action against them soon. It seems that Hitler's rule has started in Himachal Pradesh," Bindal said.
