"In their hearts, Delhi people are with BJP," says CM Dhami campaigning for BJP's East Delhi candidate

New Delhi [India], May 5 : Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday participated in a public meeting organized in favour of BJP candidate Harsh Malhotra from East Delhi Lok Sabha seat in West Vinodnagar of Patparganj.
The CM welcomed everyone who came to the meeting and said, "Delhi belongs to the people with hearts. The hearts of people of Delhi are with Bharatiya Janata Party and Prime Minister Modi."
He said he had come from the land of Manaskhand and Kedarkhand to seek votes in favour of BJP candidate Harsh Malhotra. The area of East Delhi has been a strong stronghold of BJP and certainly, the public will again contribute to making PM Modi the PM for the third time by electing the BJP candidate, he added.
Listing PM Modi's achievements Chief Minister said, "Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, India has become a powerful, capable leader in the last 10 years, India has touched new heights in every field. G20 conferences were held at various places in the country, three of its meetings have also been held in Uttarakhand. With the successful organization of G20, the whole world has seen the power, strength, and culture of India."
"When the economy of the whole world faltered, India became the 5th largest economy from the 11th. From vaccines to weapons, everything is being made in India today. He said that one vote of the public has seen the new strength of India," he added.
Mentioning some of the major decisions taken during the region of PM Modi, Dhami said, "Many historic decisions have been taken under the leadership of the Prime Minister. CAA law has been implemented in the country. Section 370 has been abolished from Kashmir, triple talaq has been banned. And after a long time, the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram has been done in Ayodhya. Those who always opposed the Ram temple are today being forced to visit the Ram temple due to elections. Those who abused Sanatan are today doing puja.
Further coming to the developmental works done in the national capital by the centre CM said, "Many important works have been done inside Delhi, which have neither been done in the past nor will be done in future. The central government has constructed Eastern and Western Peripheral Road, Pragati Maidan Tunnel, Eco Park, Kartavya Path, New Parliament House, Bharat Mandapam, and Dwarka International Convention Center in Delhi, the central government is constructing highways and flyovers in Delhi with Rs 60,000 crores. Along with this, the construction work of the third ring road project and rapid transport system is also going on."
Delhi, with all seven seats, is going to the polls in the sixth phase on May 25. The seven Lok Sabha constituencies in the capital are New Delhi, South Delhi, East Delhi, West Delhi, Chandni Chowk, North West and North East Delhi. The votes will be counted on June 4.
