Nov 03, 2025

Patna (Bihar) [India], November 3 : Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Monday launched a fierce attack on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), accusing them of making "Bihar miserable" and destroying education, neglecting employment, and misleading the public with false promises of "one crore jobs".
Addressing a press briefing in Patna, Bihar, Congress President said, "They have made Bihar miserable. They have ruined the schools. We don't have teachers, and there are no jobs in the entire country today. 50 lakh jobs are vacant in universities, police, central police, railways and in the Government of India. They should recruit people. They are not recruiting, and here they are talking about one crore jobs."
Praising Bihar's electorate, Kharge added, "That's why this time, people will teach a lesson to such liars. Bihar is a politically conscious state. There may be poverty and unemployment here, but politically, everyone is very smart. They know when to vote, how to vote, and whom to vote for."
Earlier today, addressing a public rally in Raja Pakar, Bihar, Kharge targeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and questioned his long tenure and effectiveness. "You could not end the jungle raj in 20 years? Despite all your abuses, Congress and the RJD are still getting elected here. What Nitish Kumar could not do in 20 years of his rule, will he do it now?" Kharge said.
In a sharp political attack, Kharge added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will not make Nitish Kumar the Chief Minister "at any cost".
Kharge said, "PM Modi is not going to make Nitish Kumar Chief Minister. He will bring one of his disciples and make him sit on the chair. He will say, 'Your work is done, your health is not good, you stay at home.'"
Voting for the 243-seat Bihar Assembly will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11. The results will be declared on November 14.
