New Delhi [India], October 25 : Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ajay Alok on Tuesday said that if the country follows the 10 resolutions given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the occasion of Vijayadashami then no one in the world can stop India from becoming a developed nation.
The BJP leader said that PM Modi during his speech on Vijayadashami at DDA ground in the national capital pointed towards all the evils against which we are fighting today.
"Dussehra marks the victory of good over evil. On these lines, our Prime Minister asked everyone to take 10 Sankalp or resolutions. If the country follows them, then the face of our nation will be changed and no one will be able to stop India from becoming a developed country. The PM pointed towards all the evils against which we are fighting today. Be it in the name of religion, caste, or corruption. There is a need to eliminate all these Ravanas," Alok said.
Earlier on Tuesday, PM Modi addressed a public gathering at the Dwarka Sri Ram Leela Society at DDA ground in Sector 10 in the national capital.
During his address, the Prime Minister asked everyone to take 10 resolutions, such as saving water, promoting digital transactions, cleanliness, being vocal for local, making quality products, seeing the country before thinking of foreign, promoting natural farming, prompting and adopting millets, fitness and finally, "we will raise the social status of at least one poor family by becoming a member of their household."
The Prime Minister also said that "as long as there is even a single poor person in the country who does not have basic facilities--no house, electricity, gas, water, no treatment facilities--we will not rest."
Moreover, the Prime Minister referred to the Ram Mandir, which is currently under construction in Ayodhya, and said that Lord Rama's arrival is imminent, with only a few months left before he takes his place in the temple.
"We are fortunate enough to witness the construction of Ram Temple, and on the next Ramnavami in Ayodhya, every note echoing in Ramlala's temple will bring joy to the world. There are only a few months left for Lord Ram to reside in the Ram Temple. Lord Ram is just about to arrive..." the PM said.
He further said that the construction of the Ram Temple at his birthplace in Ayodhya is a testament to the power of patience the people of the country have maintained for centuries.
"The construction of the grand temple of Lord Ram at His birthplace is a symbol of the patience of Indians for centuries," the PM said.
The Supreme Court's verdict in 2019 on the Ayodhya dispute paved the way for the construction of a grand Ram temple.
Following the apex court verdict, the centre set up the Shri Ram Janma Bhoomi Tirtha Kshetra' Trust to take all decisions regarding the construction of a magnificent Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The construction of the temple has been progressing at a steady pace under the supervision of the Trust.
The idol of Ram Lalla will be in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple. Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Ram Temple on August 5, 2020.
