Republic Day 2023: Andhra Pradesh tableau depicts 'Transforming School Education'

New Delhi [India], January 26 : The tableau of Andhra Pradesh at the 75th Republic Day parade on Friday depicted 'Transforming School Education' in the state.
The tableau of Andhra Pradesh was on the subject of "Transforming School Education in Andhra Pradesh, Making Students Globally Competitive' that highlighted the educational reforms taken up by the government.
The transformation of the medium of education was depicted on the entire tableau with letters of Telugu to Hindi and to English. The top of the front part showcased the old pattern of village class rooms and students with slate.

Th tableau also depicted the concept of modern play school on either side with children, and above, a science lab with students and in the middle, students showing tabs were projected.
A digital class room with interactive panels and smart TV with an arch showing bilingual text books, science articles and mathematical instruments, followed by digital classrooms and English labs with interactive panels and smart TV were depicted in the tableau.
The Andhra Pradesh government believes that "Education is an asset that we can give to our children and all the expenditure spent on education will be investment towards future development of the state".
The government has brought revolutionary reforms and innovative schemes in the education sector and is moving ahead with the goal of making students global citizens improving infrastructure and providing English lab, Smart Tvs, Digital Class Rooms, in Government schools to compete with corporate schools.
English medium has been introduced from the primary level in all schools. Tablets along with study material is being provided to secondary school students.
Earlier, President Droupadi Murmu commenced the celebrations of the 75th Republic Day on Friday by unfurling the national flag at Kartavya Path.
President Murmu on her arrival at Kartavya Path was received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Simultaneously, the National Anthem was played and the 21 Gun Salute was presented to the President.
President Murmu and her French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, who is the chief guest at this year's Republic Day celebration were escorted by the President's Bodyguard- 'Rashtrapati Ke Angrakshak'.
The President's Bodyguard is the seniormost Regiment of the Indian Army. This Republic Day is special for this elite Regiment as the 'Angrakshak' has completed 250 years of service since its raising in 1773.
The two Presidents arrived at Kartavya Path in the 'Traditional Buggy', a practice which made a comeback after a gap of 40 years.
