Dec 12, 2023

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], December 12 : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has called 'Modi Ji's Guarantee Van', which is reaching every village and city under the 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra', as the carrier of security, prosperity and happiness in the life of every citizen.
Interacting virtually with more than 4 lakh people simultaneously under the 'Developed India Sankalp Yatra' on Tuesday, CM Yogi urged them to give a grand welcome to "Modi ji's Guarantee Van, whichever village or town it reaches". The 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' has been conducted in 490 rural and 18 urban areas.
"If any needy person in the village has not got the benefit of schemes like housing, toilets, LPG cylinders, free rations, Kisan Samman Nidhi, and Ayushman Insurance, then bring him to the van and get him to benefit from the scheme immediately," he added.
The Chief Minister appealed to the people to listen to the Prime Minister's message on Modi ji's Guarantee Van and benefit by getting acquainted with the government's schemes. He said that the aim of the government is to saturate the entire state 100 per cent with the public welfare schemes of the double-engine government.
The Chief Minister said that for Prime Minister Narendra Modi, 'Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas' is not just a slogan, but rather a resolution, a work culture. In the last nine and a half years, the entire country has seen, known and accepted this resolution and seen it change into reality, he added.
Before the year 2014, the benefits of government schemes were given on a face-to-face basis, but during the rule of Modi ji, the poor, women and deprived sections were getting the benefits of every scheme without any discrimination, the CM pointed out.
Discussing the importance of 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra', he said that merely running schemes for public welfare is not enough; it is necessary that the benefits of the scheme reach the eligible person easily and on time. Despite all efforts, there are a large number of people who have not been able to benefit from public welfare schemes.
"To provide benefits of schemes to such people, 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' was started by the Prime Minister on Tribal Day (November 15) from the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda", he remarked.
Calling upon every aware citizen, including public representatives and the intelligentsia, he said that it is the responsibility of all to provide benefits to every eligible person deprived of the benefits of government schemes.
Addressing the people who have benefited from various public welfare schemes, the Chief Minister said, "In this special yatra, an important programme on the theme 'Meri Kahani Meri Zubaani' is for you only. Narrate your experiences to the people gathered near Modi Ji's Guarantee Van. It will be inspiring for others."
The Chief Minister said that joining government schemes means bringing happiness to one's life. Discussing the situation during the time of previous governments, he said that when the SC list was made, there were no BJP governments in the centre and the state.
"So, a large number of people were deprived of housing and other schemes," he informed.
He further pointed out that a fresh selection of beneficiaries in the Modi government was made and as a result, in the last nine and a half years, toilets have been built in the houses of 12 crore people in the country, out of which three and a half crore are in Uttar Pradesh alone.
"Earlier, no one thought that toilets should be built in the homes of the poor. The dream of giving MSP to farmers at one and a half times the cost is being fulfilled under the Modi government. Twelve crore farmers are getting Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi. 2.63 crore farmers of UP alone are benefiting from this. As many as 4 crore people in the country and 55 lakh people in the state have housing facilities, while 50 crore people in the country have a guarantee of health insurance of Rs 05 lakh annually under the Ayushman Bharat scheme. A total of 10 crore people in the state are connected to this scheme, while 80 crore people are getting the benefit of free rations," he added.
The Chief Minister said that the Prime Minister has envisioned realising the resolution of 'Developed India' by 2047, the centenary year of independence, adding that this dream will be realised with everyone's cooperation.
"We are showing the ways to fulfil the Prime Minister's 'five pledge' resolve of a developed India," CM Yogi concluded.
