Telangana: BJP MLA Raja Singh booked for taking out Ram Navami rally without prior permission

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], April 18 : The Hyderabad police registered a case against BJP MLA T Raja Singh on Thursday for taking out rally on the occasion of Ram Navami without prior permission.
As per the police FIR, a case has been registered against Singh for "causing nuisance and violating orders" under several sections of the IPC and 21/76, 67 of the Hyderbad City Police Act (CPA).
Raja Singh shared a copy of the FIR on his X profile, saying that the Hyderabad police booked him for organising a Ram Navami Shobha Yatra.

The FIR stated that a complaint was received on April 17 at around 11.30 pm from SI P Ramakishan of Afzalgunj Police Station, who was drafted for Ram Navami Festival Bandobust duties, that MLA T Raja Singh, along with few other regional leaders, took out a massive rally in Gowliguda area without prior permission.
The rally witnessed the participation of large number of people who gathered in groups, creating traffic congestion in the region and also lit fire-crackers violating orders, the FIR mentioned further.
