21 of 31 new COVID-19 cases from single source, total at 1204: TN Health Secy

Chennai, Apr 14 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in Chennai on April 14 amid COVID-19 outbreak, the Health Secretary of Tamil Nadu, Dr Beela Rajesh said, “Number of samples positive till yesterday 1173, number of samples positive today are 31. Out of the 31 samples, 21 belong to a single source contact, 1 is an inter-state travel and 9 are other contacts. Everybody has been traced to a particular contact.” “The number of Severe Acute Respiratory Infections (SARI) cases tested in the last 24 hours is 69 and none of them have found to be positive,” she added.
