22 girls from Assam, Meghalaya stranded in Delhi ‘helplessly’ due to COVID-19 lockdown

New Delhi, May 21 (ANI): A group of 22 girls from Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland, who are students of schools in Himachal Pradesh's Palampur and were returning home after exams, are stranded in the national capital since March. 6 adults who were accompanying them, are also stranded along with them. While speaking to ANI, Superintendent In-charge of Hostel, Sheetal said, “We were returning after exams concluded. We had a Delhi-Guwahati train. When we reached Delhi we got to know it has been cancelled. We stayed here next day due to Janata Curfew. Then lockdown started. We haven't received any help yet. We're stranded.”
