Anti-China protests held to mark 32nd anniversary of Tiananmen Massacre

Tokyo / Hong Kong (ANI), June 4, 2021: Massive protests were held worldwide to mark the 32nd anniversary of Tiananmen Square Massacre in China’s Beijing. Protesters in Tokyo raised their voices against suppression by the Chinese Communist Party. They were carrying banners like `Stop Genocide’. In Hong Kong, students laid flowers at the pillar of Shame sculpture to commemorate the June 4, 1989 massacre of demonstrators at Tiananmen. Tiananmen Square protests were student led demonstrations calling for democracy, free speech and free press in China. They were halted in a bloody crackdown known as Tiananmen Square Massacre. The Chinese army crackdown on the protesters killed at least 10,000 people. Thousands of Chinese nationals were detained, imprisoned or went missing. Voice of the innocent people who demand for basic rights and justice was silenced and repressed.
