Arunachal CM flags off 108 toll-free Emergency Response Ambulance Services

Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), 21 June (ANI): Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu along with state Health Minister Alo Libang, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, and other dignitaries flagged-off 108 toll-free Emergency Response Ambulance Services at Civil secretariat, Itanagar on June 21. The emergency response services will be in operation with 90 ambulances equipped with basic life support facilities will be operated by GVK EMRI (Emergency Management and Research Institute) through a centralized call center on public-private partnership (PPP) mode. Speaking to ANI, Health minister, Alo Libang said “We aim to deliver these ambulances in all the 60 constituencies of the state and hope that it reaches out in the remotest areas”.
