Assam Mizoram border conflict: Assam police setting up posts at border sites to secure area

Assam-Mizoram Border, July 31 (ANI): Amid the border tension between Assam and Mizoram, Assam Police conducted a route march at the border site to secure the area. Cachar Deputy Commissioner Keerthi Jalli and Superintendent of Police Ramandeep Kaur visited that area with the Assam Police force. Inspection of the area was carried out and a new Assam Police post on the border site was established. Assam-Mizoram was marred with violence in the past few days resulted in the death of 5 police personnel.
