Auto-lifter arrested by patrolling staff of Delhi Police

New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): Delhi Police personnel in Dwarka are being motivated and briefed regularly to develop intelligence and collect information about the criminals and by verifying suspicious persons through the E-Beat Book. Under this, the alert patrolling staff of Najafgarh Police station intercepted one scooty-borne person and asked him to produce the ownership documents. Record of the scooty was checked through the E-Beat Book of Delhi Police after he failed to present documents. It was found that the scooty was reported stolen at PS Dabri. During interrogation, the auto lifter's name was revealed as Bismulla. Bismulla was nabbed and stolen scooty was recovered. He also had a case of arms act registered against him. Further investigation is in progress.
