Beekeeping training campaign organized for women empowerment in Rewari

Rewari (Haryana), Feb 22 (ANI): A unique initiative ‘Madhushakti’ has been undertaken to empower rural women in Harayana’s Rewari. ‘Madhushakti’ strives to give a sweeter future to rural women by teaching them art of beekeeping. Many women participated in the inauguration event of four-day training camp. “To make women financially independent, organisation like ‘Beepositive’, Haryana Agricultural University and Horticulture commissioner from Government of India have taken a great initiative. Four-day training camp has been organised which will give economic empowerment to women. They will be able to sell honey on fair price and their participation in society will increase,” said Rewari Deputy Commissioner, Yashender Singh
