Dec 04, 2023

Udhampur (J&K), December 04 (ANI): The Bicycle Man of India Neeraj Kumar Prajapati, a tireless advocate for sustainable agriculture, pedaled into Udhampur on December 03, his wheels carrying more than just himself. He was warmly welcomed by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) of Reasi, at Dak Banglow in Udhampur. He carries the weight of a mission - to spark a "Millet Revolution" across India. He's embarked on a 4200-kilometer cycle odyssey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari, with a single-minded pursuit to raise awareness about the humble millet. He wants millets to find their rightful place on our plates, not just as a relic of the past, but as the cornerstone of a healthier, more sustainable future. Every kilometer cycled, every interaction with farmers and communities, is a step towards his goal. The "Millet Man" may have just passed through, but the seeds he sowed have the potential to blossom into a revolution, one grain, one pedal stroke at a time.
