Boat smuggling sea cucumbers intercepted in Ramanathapuram

Ramanathapuram (Tamil Nadu), July 11 (ANI): The Mandapam Forest Department of Tamil Nadu's Ramanathapuram district intercepted a country boat heading towards Rameswaram with sea cucumbers weighing 500 kg. The department has seized the boat and arrested the smuggler. Eaten as delicacy, sea cucumbers fetch high prices in the black market.
