Bokel in Dibrugarh celebrates 183 years of Durga Puja

Dibrugarh (Assam), Oct 11 (ANI): Bokel tea estate Durga Puja is considered as one of the oldest Durga Puja Pandals of Dibrugarh entered 183rd year of celebrations this year. Due to COVID-19, last year puja was done without idol. “We'll install a 7-feet idol at the pandal, following all COVID protocols. It's the 183rd yr. From Ahom days, Durga Puja is being celebrated here,” said Bokel Durga Puja Committee Secretary Mondal Das.
