BSF commences ‘Sard Hawa’ operation in Jaisalmer to keep hawk’s eye on border

Jaisalmer (Rajasthan), Jan 18 (ANI): The Border Security Force (BSF) began its annual ‘Sard Hawa’ operation in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer on January 16. The main objective of this operation is to keep a hawk’s eye on border. Jawans patrol the border area with their advanced weapons. Under ‘Sard Hawa’ operation, patrolling and force strength is generally increased as the possibility of cross-border infiltration rises due to dense fog in Jaisalmer during the time of Republic Day. The operation will continue till January 29.
