Buddha Purnima: Devotees take holy dip in UP’s Prayagraj

Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh), May 26 (ANI): On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, devotees gathered at the ghats of Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj and took a holy dip in Triveni Sangam on the auspicious occasion. However, due to COVID-19 pandemic, the number of devotees was fewer. Buddha Purnima is also known as Buddha Jayanti. It is an important festival of people following Buddhist faith.
