Can’t launch Novavax vaccine unless it gets license: SII MD

Pune (Maharashtra), Aug 13 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in Pune on August 13, Chairman and Managing Director of Serum Institute of India, Cyrus Poonawalla, said that the company cannot launch Novavax COVID vaccine unless it gets a license. “Unless we get a license to launch Novavax, we can't launch it. The parent American company has some issues with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), those should be cleared by the end of October,” said Poonawalla.
