Centre, State Governments should fight fatal second wave of pandemic together: CM Gehlot

Jaipur (Rajasthan) May 10 (ANI): Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Ashok Gehlot has said that the centre, state governments and all the citizens should come together in order to emerge victorious in the fight against the pandemic. His statement came on the sidelines of a virtual foundation stone laying ceremony for two medical colleges in the districts of Chittorgarh and Sriganganagar. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan was also present on the occasion. Gehlot said that the second wave of pandemic is unpredictable and lethal. He also asserted that an expeditious vaccination drive was the only way to face the challenge. He also urged the central government to provide free vaccines to 18yrs-44yrs age group. The Chief Minister said that the Central Government should provide adequate vaccine for the vaccination campaign across the country. “If there is a need to import the vaccine from abroad, it should also be done, because the vaccine can reduce the deadly effects of the disease” he said.
