CM Gehlot directs authorities to spread awareness on seasonal diseases

Jaipur (Rajasthan) November 5 (ANI): Reviewing the seasonal diseases in the Health Department meeting, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot expressed deep concern over a new strain of dengue which has multiple side effects on patients. This strain is different and fatal in comparison to other strains. The CM said that along with dengue, cases of seasonal diseases like chikungunya, malaria, scrub typhus and swine flu are also being reported. Therefore, a massive awareness campaign should be conducted to sensitize the general public. The CM Gehlot claimed that the State Government is making all appropriate arrangements for the treatment of seasonal diseases, but awareness is very important to prevent them. The CM also directed the local department to conduct regular fogging.
