CM Gehlot inaugurates State Games-2020

Jaipur (Rajasthan), January 3 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot announced the launching of ‘State Games-2020’ at Sawai Man Singh Stadium and inaugurated the games by lighting the torch. It is to be mentioned that after Independence, it is for the first time in Rajasthan that State Games are being organised. The state games will continue till January 6 in which approximately 8,000 sportspersons and coaches from different parts of the state are taking part. Chief Minister also felicitated the famous tennis player Sania Mirza by draping her with shawl. Addressing the inaugural function Ashok Gehlot said that, “The State government will not lag behind in developing infrastructure for the sports and to promote sports talents. All efforts would be done to encourage the sports culture in the state”. During the inaugural function Arjun Awardees sportspersons and those who had glorified Rajasthan at domestic and international level were felicitated.
