CM Gehlot reviews development projects in Jodhpur

Jaipur (Rajasthan) July 08 (ANI): In a meeting to review the various development projects proposed in Jodhpur city, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stressed that while preparing the DPR for various development projects, it should be kept in mind that the beauty of the city's heritage and the artistry of the city remains intact. During the meeting, the CM took detailed reports about 7 development projects including a looping route proposed by Jodhpur Development Authority in the city and instructed to proceed with the overall action plan. He also stressed completing various projects in stipulated time. The Chief Minister suggested that a garden in ‘Naya Talab’ should be developed along the lines of Lodhi Garden of Delhi. He suggested planting good trees along the walking path so that people coming for a morning walk can get fresh air. The Chief Minister also directed that the library which is currently running in the old heritage building of the Municipal Corporation should be converted into a modern and well-equipped library. In this era of mobile and IT, the habit of reading books in children is decreasing, in order to inculcate the habit of reading in them, facilities like e-library and audio-visual learning should also be made available in it with the advice of experts.
