CM Gehlot reviews ‘Mukhya Mantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana’

Jaipur (Rajasthan) August 12 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the state government has started an ambitious Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance scheme to free people from the costly treatment. CM Gehlot was reviewing the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme through video conferencing. The CM said that the objective of this scheme is to provide cashless health facilities to the people in government as well as private hospitals. He directed that all eligible families should be ensured to be linked to this scheme through the door-to-door survey. CM Gehlot expressed that to get the comprehensive benefits of the scheme, more and more private hospitals with huge and good health facilities must be included in this scheme in backward areas along with the cities. CM Gehlot directed to set up help desks in hospitals so that people do not face any problem in taking advantage of this scheme. He also stressed that regular monitoring should be done at every level for the successful operation of the scheme.
