Coconut Board Act to be amended to increase farming: Agriculture Minister

New Delhi, July 08(ANI): The union cabinet decided on Thursday to amend Coconut Development Board Act as part of efforts to increase coconut farming. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said, “To increase Coconut farming, we're amending Coconut Board Act. The Coconut Board president will be a non-official person. He will be from the farmers' community, who knows and understand the work of field.”
