Communication channels were curtailed to avoid misuse: J&K Governor’s advisor

Srinagar (Jammu and Kashmir), Aug 18 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir Governor’s advisor, Vijay Kumar said that the government had taken the decision of “reducing” communication channels to avoid misuse. “Because we have to main law and order, as an essential preventive measure we had to reduce the communication channels so that it were not put to misuse. I want to make it very clear to the public that this was taken in public interest.” He also said, “If the man on the street who is staying inside the house is not aware what is the intention of the government then he is in a state of confused mind. All efforts are being made to convey what is happening.”
