Congress MLA Arif Masood demands inclusion of Quran, Bible, Guru Granth Sahib in school syllabus

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Sep 15 (ANI): Congress MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) Arif Masood on Sept 14 said that BJP government should also include Quran, Bible and Guru Granth Sahib in school syllabus along with Ramayana and Mahabharata. “They've mentioned Ramayana and Mahabharata but they should also include Quran, Bible and Guru Granth Sahib. India is a country that takes all religions together, it's a secular nation. This will not only protect Constitution but also clarify Govt's intent,” he said. This comes after Mohan Yadav, MP Higher Education Minister, decided to include the Hindu epics like Ramayana, Mahabharata and Ramcharitmanas in engineering syllabus.
