Congress not the party it was before: Jyotiraditya Scindia after joining BJP

New Delhi, Mar 11 (ANI): After joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inviting him into the ‘family’. He also said that the Congress party is not anymore the party that it was earlier.” “I would like to thank JP Nadda, PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah that they invited me to their family and gave me a place in it,” said Former Congress leader Jyotiraditya Scindia. “There have been 2 life changing events for me - one, the day I lost my father and the second, yesterday when I decided to choose a new path for my life. The Congress party is not anymore the party that it was earlier,” the leader further added. Jyotiraditya Scindia joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi on March 11. He joined the party in the presence of BJP president JP Nadda at party headquarters. Scindia quit Congress on March 10 in wake of political turmoil in Madhya Pradesh where at least 22 party legislators submitted resignation from Chief Minister Kamal Nath-led government.
