New Delhi, Mar 02 (ANI): Supreme Court dismissed one of the convicts of 2012 Delhi gangrape case, Pawan Gupta’s curative petition on March 02, a day before scheduled hanging of the four convicts. The petition had sought commutation of his death penalty to life imprisonment. Speaking on it to media persons, Singh said, “This is the country that saw Nithari Kand where innocent kids were killed, accused Surinder Koli is alive. When Nithari Kand accused is alive, so the thing is here you are hanging five people for one but there you couldn’t hang one or two for fifty. Naina Sahni and Jessica Lal murder case are few other same examples. Don’t they have family? Their family members were not getting funding from outside, that is why they were unheard. ” He further said, “You can hang a kid, can dismiss his curative petition but cannot do the same with others. I leave this question up to you.”
