COVID-19: Arunachal Pradesh extends lockdown in 7 districts till June 7

Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh), May 31 (ANI): Following the surge in COVID-19 cases in the state, the Arunachal Pradesh Government decided to extend the lockdown in seven districts till June 7. These districts include the Itanagar capital region, Tawang, Lower Subansiri, Namsai, Upper Subansiri, Lohit, and Anjaw districts. The decision was taken at the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA) meeting, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, to assess the coronavirus situation and review the preparedness of the state.
