COVID-19: Captain Amarinder Singh appeals to avoid religious congregation in Punjab

Chandigarh, Mar 18 (ANI): Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh appealed people to avoid religious congregation in the state. He said, "I request all the heads of religious sects in Punjab to make an appeal to abide by government's advisory. Crowd should be avoided at religious places and people should follow the directions of our health department so that we can keep control over this situation." He further added, "In Punjab there are 116 cases, out of which only 1 case has been proved positive. Rest have been declared negative. By God's grace everything is good and we want to keep it that way."
