COVID-19: CM Gehlot urges people to avoid going to crowded place

Jaipur (Rajasthan), Mar 17 (ANI): To spread awareness among people about the coronavirus pandemic, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot took a meeting with various district collectors through Video conferencing. In the meeting, CM said that people should be informed about the severity of the disease and its impact around the world. The horrors of the coronavirus can be gauged from the fact that the World Health Organization has declared it as a pandemic and the United States a national disaster.During the video conferencing, Chief Minister took information from the collectors of Udaipur, Jodhpur, Bikaner, Ajmer, Jaisalmer and other districts about the steps taken to prevent the coronavirus where most of the foreign tourists come. He also instructed the officials for screening at airports, railway stations, bus stands and hotels etc.CM also directed them to use mediums such as pamphlets, banners, hoardings, and short films to spread awareness. He also appealed to the people of the state to take serious concern about the coronavirus and avoid going to fairs, events and other crowded places.
