COVID-19: Delhi extends containment zone list to 47

New Delhi, Apr 14 (ANI): Taking necessary precautions to tackle coronavirus situation, number of containment zones in Delhi was raised to 47. The areas that were newly added to the list included Balaji Apartment, Sant Nagar, Burari, A-1B/75A Krishna Apartment, Paschim Vihar, in and around the area of A-280 JJ Colony, Madipur, and in and around the area of 36/4, East Patel. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal informed that ‘Operation Shield’ will be conducted in the containment areas. Door-to-door screenings in infected zones is also being conducted by authorities. Number of confirmed cases in national capital has reached 1154, according to health of ministry.
