COVID-19: Health Ministry advises journalists to take precautions during work hours

New Delhi, Apr 20 (ANI): After cases of several media persons testing positive for coronavirus emerged, the Health Ministry has now advised journalists to take precautions and follow the norms to prevent the spread of COVID-19. “Journalists testing positive for COVID19 is very unfortunate news. When you (journalists) attend your call of duty, kindly take the required precautions, follow the norms of social distancing and wear face masks,” said Lav Agarwal, Joint Secretary, Health Ministry. According to latest reports, 53 journalists in Mumbai have been tested positive for COVID19. All are under isolation.
