COVID-19: Hospital staff applaud as first 2 patients of Ananthapuramu discharged

Ananthapuramu (Andhra Pradesh), Apr 17 (ANI): Hospital staff along with district officials clapped for a 9-year-old boy and a 36-year old woman after they beat COVID-19 and leave hospital. The boy and woman were detected COVID-19 positive on March 29. District administration had immediately shifted them to COVID special hospital and tested them and kept them under continues observation. On Thursday (16th April), both of them got discharged. The boy got corona positive as he was a primary contact to a person who returned from Mecca to Karnataka. The woman herself is a returnee from Mecca to Hindupuram. The hospital staff and district officials applauded them and wished them a healthy and prosperous life. Both the patients have been instructed to be in home isolation for 14 days. This is the first time that two corona patients are fully cured and sent home, in Ananthapuramu district.
