COVID-19: India records 1035 new cases in 24 hours, sharpest increase

New Delhi, April 11 (ANI): India witnessed sharpest ever increase of COVID-19 cases (1035) in a single day. 40 deaths were reported in India in last 24 hours. Total positive cases now in India stand at 7447 including 6565 active cases. 643 have been cured and 239 have lost their lives due to deadly virus. Hotspots are being sealed across country to contain the spread.
