COVID-19 lockdown adversely affects floriculture in Jodhpur

Jodhpur (Rajasthan), Apr 20 (ANI): COVID-19 pandemic has affected floriculture across the country. Floriculture farmers in Rajasthan’s Jodhpur are facing hardship with wedding and celebrations off amid nationwide lockdown. Due to lockdown, the sale of flowers has decreased as temples and mosques have been closed. The farmers seek government’s support in this difficult time. The lockdown has been extended till May 03 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to combat novel coronavirus.
