COVID-19 lockdown: Haryana Govt initiates helpline number to solve locals’ grievances

Panchkula (Haryana), Apr 22 (ANI): Amid COVID-19 outbreak, Haryana government took a step for helping people who are in stress or want to inquire anything during lockdown. Around 55 agents have been hired to solve queries of the residents. The aim is to resolve queries of migrant workers, queries related to ration cards and doctor services. Approximately 900 doctors also volunteered in this initiative to help the needy. The Nodal Officer of Haryana Control Room, Vikas Gupta said, “Government of Haryana has established a call center for residents of Haryana to spread the information related to coronavirus as well as to address the grievances. This helpline number will work 24*7. We have handled more than 1,62,000 calls so far. This helpline will help those who will ask any help in terms of ration, movement, availability of medicines, etc. We immediately help them.” 254 positive cases of coronavirus have been reported in Haryana as of now.
