COVID-19 lockdown: UK airlifts 268 stranded foreign nationals from Kerala

Kochi (Kerala), Apr 16 (ANI): UK government airlifted 268 British citizens, who were stranded in Kerala because of lockdown, from Trivandrum International Airport and Cochin International Airport via British Airways. The flight took off from Trivandrum airport to Cochin airport with 110 passengers at 7:30 pm today. And later, 158 more passengers airlifted from Cochin airport at 10:07 pm to London Heathrow. All passengers are British citizens who were stranded in Kerala due to the COVID-19 outbreak. Medical team including 4 doctors screened the passengers at the airport.
