COVID-19: Maharashtra Health Minister says state not in ‘community spread’ phase

Mumbai, Mar 23 (ANI): In a press conference on March 23, Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope cleared that the state has not entered the “community spread” phase, even as the total number of infections reached 89, highest in the country.Tope said, “There are total 89 positive Coronavirus cases in the state including 14 new cases in Mumbai and 1 in Pune. I want to make it very clear that we have not entered the community spread phase. We have not entered into phase third as of now.”
