Mumbai, Apr 09 (ANI): While talking about the spread of deadly coronavirus pandemic across the country after Nizamuddin Markaz event in Delhi, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh lambasted on Delhi Police for allowing such event to take place. He said that a programme similar to Delhi's Nizamuddin Markaz event was scheduled to be held near Mumbai in Vasai on March 15-16 but was not allowed by the state government. He asked that why didn't Delhi Police stop this programme like Mumbai Police did? He further added, "Because of this, COVID-19 cases have increased. The whole state machinery is trying its best to contain this pandemic. This new problem surfaced in Maharashtra and other states because of Delhi Police, who is responsible for this?"
