COVID-19: Meerut Police registers case against private hospital after their ad sparks controversy

Meerut (UP), Apr 20(ANI): Meerut police has registered a case against Valentis Cancer Hospital after their advertisement published in a local newspaper got opposed by many. “We are taking action as per the evidence available,” said Meerut SSP Ajay Kumar Sahni. Valentis Cancer Hospital had put an advertisement in a newspaper asking new Muslim patients and their caretakers to come for treatment after undergoing COVID-19 test and only if the results are negative. The hospital management had tendered an apology for the advertisement.
