COVID-19: Migrant workers claim they weren’t allowed to enter Delhi school

New Delhi, Apr 01 (ANI): Migrant workers waited outside Sarvodaya Co-education Senior Secondary School in Delhi’s Patparganj on April 01 amid coronavirus lockdown. They claimed that they are not allowed to enter the school as it is full. The school was converted into a temporary shelter home to accommodate homeless and migrant workers. While speaking to ANI, a resident of Haryana’s Palwal, Sahil Khan, said, “We have been told that this shelter home is full. They are trying to shift us to another shelter home.” According to the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total number of COVID-19 active cases rose to 1238 in India with 35 deaths.
