Kathmandu (Nepal), Oct 14 (ANI): Serpentine lines stretched to all possible corners of Basantapur Durbar Square since early morning of Thursday as the Taleju Bhawani Temple opened its gates for devotees on Maha Navami after 2 years. Taleju Bhawani is regarded as the main goddess of Newa: as well as savior of children. Last year due to the rising cases of COVID-19 infections, the temple remained closed for devotees. However, this year the doors were opened since early morning as COVID situation improved in Nepal. Basantapur Durbar Square Supervision Office in coordination with local clubs distributed masks and sanitizers to devotees this year.
