COVID-19 outbreak: CRPF personnel donate blood in time of crisis

New Delhi, Apr 20 (ANI): Amid coronavirus outbreak, CRPF personnel stood as heroes as they donated blood in time of crisis. AIIMS Blood Bank made the request to Parliament Duty Group to donate blood as the blood centers have crisis due to coronavirus lockdown. Second-In-Command of Parliament Duty Group CRPF, Deepak Bhati said, “We organised this blood donation drive in our campus. Our jawans and officers volunteered themselves for donating blood. Through this donation drive, we wanted to give a message that in the ongoing pandemic of coronavirus, we should come forward and do blood donation voluntarily. ” 14175 active cases of coronavirus have been reported in India so far.
